Pender Pines Garden Center Inc.

Pender Pines Garden Center is a lush, full-service nursery and garden center located just outside Wilmington in Hampstead, NC. Since its founding in 1996, the center has grown into a sprawling garden destination — with greenhouses, a large retail lot, and a ½-acre arboretum — offering an expansive selection of plants, trees, shrubs, herbs, perennials, succulents, tropicals, and more.

But Pender Pines is more than just a plant shop. It has become a beloved community spot where visitors of all ages can enjoy rescued animals (goats, alpacas, exotic birds, etc.), koi ponds, and a family-friendly atmosphere.

Whether you’re hunting for a rare shrub, redoing your landscape, picking up a few houseplants, or bringing kids to see the animals, Pender Pines offers something for everyone.
